Proximity is of higher significance than Activity

i always find this statement of David Smiedt true ^-^

had a lazy afternoon today, stolen from his work and my projects.. he playing world of warcraft, me reading a book on the bed by the big big window.. breezy breezy sunny afternoon..

don't need an activities filled day, don't need pretty pretty, don't need good food, don't need him paying a lot of attention to me.. just telling me his new monster, his new level, taking water and food for me a bit; me laughing at the dialogue he n his game-mate aka campmate was having, asking him bout the monster he is fighting, cutting fruit for him; simple simple x)

though there are days when he would really feel like being out there swimming, and days when i feel like being out day strolling; no matter whats the decision in the end, its on the basis of compromise and the significance of proximity over activity that end our day with a smile on both faces x)

probably its cos i'm claustrophobic, i especially love his room, cos its bright enough with his entire wall of windows [the big big from ceiling to floor type if u get what i mean lolx]
bright and breezy, great view of the hill opposite, the train track, the junction and the traffic, most of all, the sky.

what could be more comforting than to have such a setting, with a comfy bed and my boy right beside me? ^^



enjoy while i have it... the next january will crawl upon me silently... soon enough... juz as the 15 years compulsory education creeps to an end suddenly.
